The deceased was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic church at Detroit Mich. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America of Belvidere. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Bethel Baptist church near Chandlerville with Rev. several children living, and this morning she decided to return home, and boarded the 11:32 train for that city. Not being able to regain her strength here, Mrs. Mead was advised to go to a warmer climate and on February 3 she and her husband left for Lordsburg, New Mexico, where she slowly gained until May 30, when she was stricken with a complication and in her nervous, weak condition with all that human hands could do and medical science could administer, she was unable to stand the fight and on June 15, at 10:15 a.m., she quietly went to sleep.
